A video is arguably one of the essential tools you should be using within your marketing and should be a part of your marketing plan.
This doesn’t just mean a promo video.
People digest information exceptionally quickly nowadays; there’s so much of it available FOR FREE that you need to get as much information to a person as soon as possible.
A video is a great tool to showcase your products, get your clients to share testimonials or even basic how-to guides.
When you’re starting out, you can experiment with homemade videos, filmed from your smartphone and directly uploaded; this is a great way to keep the budget low and gives you a good chance on seeing an ROI.
However, there’s something to be said for using a video/filming company
- They are usually quicker
- Video quality should be higher
- They have the tools and experience to add animation
- They know how to measure ROI for video
- A higher quality video may bring in higher quality leads
Having a low budget is fine (and should be done in the beginning), however, a professionally created video while costing a little more may gain you a much more significant ROI, just remember DON’T JUST MAKE A PROMO VIDEO
